Generally used in the construction industry for polythene jointing and shuttering tape. Also suitable for the joining and securing of flame retardant temporary protection materials.
- Manufactured from a plasticised polyvinyl chloride film and coated with an aggressive pressure sensitive rubber based adhesive
- Tested to BS EN ISO 4589-2 (Oxygen Index) and in accordance with this method, shows self-extinguishment characteristics in standard and enriched atmospheres up to 23% oxygen concentration levels
- Suitable for joining of LPS 1207 / TS63 certified temporary protection materials
- Interior use only
- Will degrade if exposed to UV
- Due to the different properties and characteristics of material surfaces, the purchaser and or user should test the suitability of the tape in an unexposed area in order to satisfy themselves that the tape is suitable for their requirements
