Lift interiors are prone to damage during refurbishment as they are used to transport materials to other floors, protection is therefore essential to prevent costly repairs. Water repellent and flame proof padded protectors are the ideal solution. Made from woven polyester fabric (external layer) with a PU/ waterproof/FR coating to BS 5867, and an internal thermal layer with FR coating to BS 5852 – complete protection tested to BS 5867.
Fixing is via one of the three options – spring-loaded extendable rails (up to 2.1m); suction hooks fitted to walls (glass or mirrors surfaces); magnets designed to attach to lift ceilings. Kits consist of three protectors to suit a range of lift sizes (one with clear window for control panel), a set of your chosen fixings, ‘Caution Mirror/Glass Behind’ sign and storage bag. Available in a range of colours – beige, blue, grey, black or brown.
